More than 40 Years in IT Business

Our company started in late 1970 ‘s when was beginning one of the greatest technological revolutions of history, thanks to which the IT science / Technologies which was previously closed in glass room available to be used just by few specialists was preparing to become the technology for everybody.

Initially we oriented our attention to use the IT to design products, using the Concurrent Engeenering methodologies and built its by using CAD, CAM and CAPP Technologies.

In this area our company has developed strong relationship with Spring a partnership between IBM (Italian Branch) and Mandelli Group.

The other sector was associated to the evolution introduced in ‘IT environment by the microprocessor, through which the world of automatic controls moved the from the wired logic paradigm to the one much more simple and flexible driven by programmatic logic.

In this sector our company has established a relationship with STM by which we were using its CLZ family boards based on the Z80 family microprocessor for building automatic control systems.

Company Inception

1977

Sintec System starts from a group of friends who already worked or were finishing their studies in the faculties of Industrial electronics & microelectronics field.

First Software Product

1990

Its first software product is Hermes (in Olympus it was the courier of the Gods) it is a system that in a safe and automatic asynchronous mode transfers data between machines even with different operating systems.

Entered in Opera 21 Group

2005

With the growth of the IT business it becomes more and more a field in which large companies are preferred, for this reason that in 2004 Sintec became part of the Opera 21 group, which at the time developed a business of about € 100M

Open Sintec System Sa - Switzerland

2008

Competition between large groups is increasingly becoming a problem of financial strength rather than skills. So in 2008 Sintec buys back its shares and moves to Switzerland.

New Business Unit in Timisoara(RO)

2017

The growth in importance of the Eastern European markets we open the BU: STS (Sintec Technicals Service) in Timisoara (RO). In this country thanks to its recent history becomes very easy to find resources that are well suited to the needs of the Eastern European markets.
